Another Birthday .... this was for our youngest daughter, she loved my card.

I used Berry Bouquet DSP, Happiest Birthday Wishes Stamp Set, Crochet Trim Chantilly, Blushing Bride CS for the Base, a piece of Melon Mambo ran through the Square Lattice Embossing Folder for the top layer.  I used the Designer Frames Embossing Folder on Blushing Bride CS for the frame around the stamped image.  This inside is printed from the computer and I used the Just Believe Stamp Set to embellish.

Another Birthday Card

I warned you, we have a lot of November Birthday's to cover!  This one is for a Granddaughter back East.

I used Melon Mambo for the card base and the next layer is Pink Pirouette ran through the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.  I used the wide Black/White Striped Rbbon and stamped the Birthday circle from Happiest Birthday Wishes Stamp Set on Whisper White CS/Pink Pirouette CS/Melon Mambo CS and layered them after punching with Circle Punches and Scallop Circle Punch.  The bird from Language of Friendship Stamp Set is stamped onto Black CS with White Ink and I used clear embossing powder and punched it out with the Bird Builder Punch.  The flower is from the Every Moment Stamp Set, colored with Color Pencils and used the Blender Pen and cut it out.  The inside stamp of the 3 birds is from the Clearly for You Stamp Set.  Hope it gets there by Friday!

Kleenex Box Cover

I created this Kleenex Box cover to give to my Boss' wife.  She's such a sweetie and came by the office on Wednesday and said hello.  I thought she would like it for the Thanksgiving Season.  If she does, maybe I'll make her another one for the Christmas Season???  I used the Always Thankful Stamp Set for the saying and Wheelbarrow stamped on Very Vanilla CS.  The base is Pear Pizzazz CS.  The next layer is Spice Cake DSP.  The little saying is stamped with Soft Suede on Very Vanilla CS.  I punched it out with the Small Scallop Oval Punch and layered it onto a piece of Soft Suede CS punched with the Curly Label Punch.  The Wheelbarrow is colored with various Stampin' Write Markers and Wonder Color Crayons and I used my Blender Pen to soften the look.  It is layered onto Pool Party CS and then a layer of Pear Pizzazz CS.  I added 3 Basic Pearls above the saying.  Hope she likes it!

November Birthday's

We have a lot of November Birthday's in our family.  This is the first of several cards for them you will see this month.

I used Pool Party CS for the base of the card.  Spice Cake DSP for the bottom and strips on the inside.  The Happy Birthday is from Perfectly Penned Stamp Set using More Mustard Ink Pad and the flower is from Button Buddies Stamp Set stamped with Pool Party Ink and Clear Embossing Powder. My Twin Judy made a card similar to this for my Birthday this year and I loved it.  (Thanks for letting me copy you Judy!)  The center of the flower I used one of the In Color Printed Designer Brads ~ love those.  I used the Scallop Edge Punch on the inside strips.  Also across the middle of the front of the card is Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon.  Hope Wendy likes her card and has a wonderful Birthday.  We don't get to see her much, she lives in New Hamshire.

Baby Card

I made a card for a co-worker that just got his first Granddaughter.  He has been so excited and let the spoiling begin!

I saw a card similar to this created by Nancy Dawson of Paper Dreams & Creative Wishes, she did her's in blues and greens, my card is for a baby girl.  I only did three drawers, she has 4.  I used Pink Pirouette CS for the base, some of the new Printed Designer Brads for the drawer pulls, some Chocolate Chip ink for sponging around the edges.  The little baby things were stamped with the Baby Bundle Stamp Set and colored with the Blender Pen using Water Color Wonder Crayons.

Note Pad

Here's a little note pad holder I made for my Hygienist at the DDS office.  She's such a sweetie and is always asking what crafting I've been up to.  She was so excited when I gave this to her.  I found the instructions at Connie Stewart's site.  You only use one piece of 8-1/2 x 11 card stock ... too cool, huh?

I used Basic Black CS for the holder and the Language of Friendship Stamp Set.  I stamped with Black StazOn and punched with the Bird Builder Punch.  The little flowers are from the same stamp set and match up with the Boho Blossoms Punch (sure is a lot easier than trying to hand cut all that stuff!)  The saying is from the same stamp set too and punched with the Decorative Label Punch and sponged with Black SazOn Ink.  I added some Rhinestones to the flowers and the little saying and a little booglie eye to the bird (sorry, those are in my stash, not a SU product ~ yet!). I wrapped a piece of Wide Striped Black Ribbon around the top of the box before adhereing my bird and flowers.

I used the oval punch on the front of the box so you can access the note paper easier.  Check out Connie's site Simply Simple Stamping with Connie Stewart, she has some great box making tutorials.

Memo Paper

Here's a little memo pad/paper holder I created for my Twin ~ Judy.  I got the instructions from Connie Stewart at Simply Simple Stamping.  Just one sheet of CS to make one of these.  Connie is an awesome box maker and her videos give you step-by-step instructions.  She created a shim so all your box lids fit perfectly.

I used Baja Breeze CS and Letters to Santa DSP for the box.  The V and J are from the Broadsheet Alphabet Stamp Set.  I used Baja Breeze ink to stamp some of the memo sheets with J and V's, also the V on the embellishment, sponged around the edges and layered onto a 1-3/8" circle of Not Quite Navy and the Scallop Circle out of Baja Breeze CS.  I ran a piece of Early Espresso Taffeta Ribbon around the top and tied it off. I think Judy will like it!

Birthday Card and Treat

My BFF from our downtown office is celebrating her birthday today!  I made her a card and little coffee treat and took it by and left it on her desk this morning.  She called, she LOVED IT!  Yeah!!!!

I used DSP from the 6x6 In Color Paper Patterns book.  I ran a 4x51/4 piece of Crumb Cake CS through the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder and sponged for the top half with Early Espresso.   I made a little "Lollie" from Whisper White CS with a pearl in the center and punched the edges with the Scallop Trim Border punch.  I cut a butterfly with the Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die.  The Birthday Wishes stamp is from Bring on the Cake.  Added a little bow made with Espresso Tafetta ribbon.

The little coffee treat was made with the Petite Pocket Sizzix Die and Crumb Cake DSP.  The stamp set I used is Morning Cup stamped in Cherry Cobbler.  The little message was punched with the Word Window Punch and layered onto a piece of Real Red CS punched with the Modern Label Punch.  I added a couple of little Pearls.  The ribbon is the wide striped Cherry Cobbler tied with a piece of the Bakers Twine.  I sponged the edges.  The coffee cups were stamped with Cherry Cobbler and punched out with the Wide Oval Punch and layered onto Real Red CS punched with the Decorative Label Punch.  I saw this at our recent Luv 2 Stamp Group Meeting, Cindee Wilkinson brought it and you can see the ones she made on her Blog, Just Sponge It.  She is so creative and thanks so much for sharing Cindee!  Love it!

Christmas Box

We had a Luv2Stamp upline meeting last Saturday with Patty Bennett.  What fun and what a great group of stampers.  Patty had a shoebox swap before our afternoon get together (we didn't attend the morning session) and had a few of her project supplies left.  She let us (Judy, Nancy & I) make one of her little boxes!  How cute is this:

Check out her blog Patty's Stamping Spot, she has tons of great samples and tutorials.  Also, she does a wonderful job with MDS, that's how she made the NOEL on the top of the box.  I think she must be the Queen of MDS, I haven't seen anybody create in it like she does ~ totally awesome!  And she shares, I'm so blessed to have her as an upline (even if I'm not her direct recruit, she takes all of her downline to level 5 under her wing ~ don't know how she keeps flying, I know we are getting more and more of us by the day)!  LOL!!

Sister Birthday Card

Yep, another Sister having a Birthday ~ there are a lot of us!!  LOL!!!

I used Wisteria Wonder as my card, layered with Regal Rose and more Wisteria Wonder ran through the Polka Dot Embossing Folder and the other diagonal half is Cheerful Treat DSP.  The ribbon across the center is Whisper White Organza.  I used a circle of  Regal Rose and ran it through the Square Lattice Embossing Folder, distressed the edges and sponged some Early Espresso and layered on my Cupcake from the Easy Events Stamp Set on Water Color Paper and colored with a Blender Pen and Water Color Crayons and a Water Color Pencil.  I sponged around the cupcake with Early Espresso. Then added some Rhinestone Jewels.

The inside was computer generated but I stamped the flowers on the sides with a stamp from Just Believe Stamp Set in Wisteria Wonder, just to tie it all together.  Hope my Sis' has a great Birthday and enjoys our good wishes.

Student of the Week Poster

My Grandson was "Student of the Week" last week and we created this poster for him to take to his 4th Grade Class.  Wow...4th Grade ALREADY????

He loved sharing all his favorite activities and pastimes with his teacher and classmates.

Another Wedding Surprise for Tina!

I also made a little candy box for Tina using the idea from our UPLINE Meeting with Patty Bennett last month.  Cindee Wilkinson (Just Sponge It) showed us how to do this altered matchbox and candy favor.

The little candies are stamped with the new It's a Wrap Occasions Stamp Set and go around a little candy bar without actually gluing to the candy wrapper. I put the glue on the inside and wrap the other end so they are lose from the actual candy bar (we learned at our meeting that Hershey's has a rule against gluing directly over their trademark).  I used the new Stripes Embossing Folder for the lid and the label that punches out with the Matchbox.  Again, used Tina and John's colors of Black/White and Rust (aka Cajun Craze in my stamp room!).
I embossed around the label with some Whisper White Ink.

I made a cute little photo album for my friend Tina, she's getting married Oct.9th ~ congrats Tina!

Her colors they chose for the wedding are Black/White and Rust ~ so ~ Cajun Craze fit the bill perfectly!
I got the tutorial from DOstamping with Dawn, isn't it awesome?  She gives  you step-by-step instructions.  Thanks Dawn!
