Little Easter Chic

How do you like my little Easter Chic?

I cased this from Tami White at Stamp with Tami. She did a little bunny too but I didn't have one of the Sizzlets Dies she used for that one. Isn't the little Chickie just too cute for words. He was so easy to "copy" ... LOL!!!! I used Crushed Curry CS with the Top Note Die and Bigz XL Fancy Favor Box. Wide striped Pumpkin Pie Ribbon, White & Basic Black CS for the eyes and made little bright spots with the White Gel Pen. I sponged all the edges with Classic Going Gray Ink Pad. I punched little hearts for wings with the Heart to Heart Punch. Check out Stamp with Tami Blog for a tutorial. Thanks for sharing Tami.

3 x 3 card ~ cased from Judy!

Here's a little card I cased from Judy today ~ you'd have to see it in person cause she doesn't have a blog .... sorry ~ but mine is pretty close to what her's looked like, in fact ~ I'll post a picture of her's too! Love you Judy!

This one is Judy's and totally cute!

And here is mine. I used the XL Two-Step Bird Punch with Bermuda Bay CS for the bird's body and Melon Mambo CS for the wings. Almost Artichoke CS and Close to Cocoa CS for the branch. I used Soft Suede to sponge the edges and for the sentiment which is from the Short and Sweet Stamp Set. Also Close to Cocoa Grosgrain Ribbon and the Eyelet Border Punch on the bottom of the card backed with Melon Mambo CS and sponged with the Soft Suede.

Thanks for sharing Judy and thank you so much for coming to visit today ~ our day flew by much to fast! (As usual!!!) :o)

Another Easter Basket

Here's another little Easter Basket that I cased from Splitcoast Stampers. Hope you like it??

I used the Pawsitively Prints DSP for the outside of the basket and YoYo Yellow CS for the actual basket and handle. I used the Eyelet Border Punch for the design with DSP on the handle. I used Bashful Blue Satin Ribbon for the little bow and the Yellow Striped Grosgrain Ribbon around the top of the Basket. The Happy Easter stamped with Soft Suede is from the Well Scripted Stamp Set stamped on pink CS from the Earth Elements Packet of CS and punched with the Scallop Oval Punch and layered onto Wide Oval Punched from Chocolate Chip CS. I added some tissue paper and Easter Candy to finish off the little basket.

Easter Basket

I made an Easter Basket with the Bigz Scallop Envelope Die Cut like they showed on Splitcoast this week. I used Bashful Blue CS along with the Autumn Meadows DSP. I used the Eggcoutrements Stamp Set and punched it out with the Designer Label Punch and backed it with Chocolate Chip CS punched with the Scallop Square Punch. I punched the handle for the basket with the Eyelet Border Punch and attached with Brown 5/16" Neutral Assortment Brad (the dark brown one).

Hope you like it! :o)

Birthday Card

I made a Birthday card for my boss whose b-day was Monday. I used the card from our swap a few weeks ago at the Luv 2 Stamp Group Meeting traded by Lisa Stout. I changed mine up just a bit but I loved her card because it had that masculine look! Great job Lisa and thanks for sharing.

Here's my version~

I used the stamp sets Vintage Labels for the Happy Birthday, Upsy Daisy for the flowers and Lovely As A Tree for the leaves. Sponged the circles with Soft Suede and stamped in the same color. I used the Light Blue Taffetta Ribbon and the Scallop Edge Punch along with the Scallop Die (using Basic Black CS) and 1 and 1-1/4" circle punches. The Soft Suede CS was run through the Finial Press Embossing Folder and sponged with Soft Suede Ink. Also used Kraft Paper that I stamped the leaves on for the background.

Patty's Luv 2 Stamp Group Meeting 3/6/2010

Hi everyone ~ yesterday we had our downline meeting in Concord with our Upline Demonstrator/Executive Patty Bennett ~ check out her site Patty's Stamping Spot and see why she is so successful! I think she lives by the motto of last year's Stampin' UP! Convention for TEAM ~ Together Everyone Achieves More and she definitely helps make that happen! I'm posting my "updated" swap card (yeah, I read the directions again), we were to use NEW stamps from the current catalog and any from the Mini or SAB. No big deal, just had to change out my little bunny and use one from the Eggcoutrements!

Our meeting was so much fun and so many awesome cards were shared. I'm also posting the swaps I received and have to say ~ they are all worthy of a "prize". What a great group of talented people. Can't wait to see all of you again. Patty did a wonderful job with all of our make-and-takes along with her demonstrators and helpers. Thanks all.
