Inspire - Emboss Resist Technique

What a great technique Patty.  I used Zoo Review Stamp Set and VersaMark with White Embossing Powder for the giraffe. The Stamp Pads I used were: Basic Black for the Imagine (from the Loving Thoughts Stamp Set), Crumb Cake, Wild Wasabi, Cajun Craze, Baja Breeze and Daffodil Delight.   I cut the image out with Framelits - Labels Collection and another one size larger in Crumb Cake CS and ran it through the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.  I used a piece of the Chocolate Chip Scallop Dots Ribbon and colored some Basic Pearls with a brown Sharpie, (thanks for that tip too Patty). I mounted it all onto a Crumb Cake card base.

All these supplies will be moving on to the new 2012-2013 catalog!

Grad Card

My sweet friend BeBe was graduating from Sac State last week-end.  This is the card I created for her special day!

I used the Melon Mambo CS for the base of the card.  Mixed Bunch Stamp Set using Melon Mambo Ink Pad to stamp the flower and punched it out with the Blossom Punch.  The background paper is from Mocha Morning DSP pack.  The Congrats is from Tagtastic Stamp Set and I made a little banner out of more Melon Mambo CS.  I punched the Congrats with the Decorative Label Punch and added 3 little Rhinestones.  The inside I created on my computer and cut it out with the Labels Framlits.

Hope she likes it!  Oh yeah, added the little key using Baker's Twine...cute, huh?

Teacher Appreciation Week

It was Teacher Appreciation Week last week at my Grandson's school.  This is the little bag of goodies I made for him to give her.  It included a little clipboard covered with DSP, an ink pen, with the same DSP inside the barrell, a bar of chocolate covered in the DSP and wrapped with some ribbon and a ruler with the same DSP showing through.  The DSP is from the Specialty Sweet Shop DSP.  I made a tag with the Two-Tags punch in place of a card.  I got a report back from Johnny that Ms. V loved it!  Yeah!!!

Gift Card

Here's a little 3x3 card I made to put into a package to a sweet lady in Michigan.  She was so nice when my new Demonstrator was needing ideas for creating her business card.  She sent a cute little holder with one of her cards tucked in one side and a little flower magnet on the other.  What a sweetheart.  She is part of our Luv2Stamp Group under Patty Bennett named Wilda Cogar.  I love being able to call her "my friend".  She was looking for the little motorcycle stamp that is retired because she got her hubby a motorcycle for their 40th wedding anniversary ~ so, the least I could do was send it to her!

I used some of the new in-colors that Demonstrators were allowed to order ahead of time.  The DSP is First Edition Specialty DSP.  I cute the little background with friends with one of the new Framelits that will be available to order June 1st from the new catalog.  The card base and image are Primrose Petals CS and Stamp Pad.  I love, love, love the new Stamp Pads!  I colored some pearls with a Sharpie and stuck below her name.  The friends is from Just Believe Stamp Set.  I did some sponging with Chocolate Chip Ink Pad.

Sympathy Card ~ Susan

One of my close friends at work lost her Dad last week.  I decided to try Patty's challenge to make her a Sympathy Card ~

What a great technique Patty.  Used Just Believe Stamp Set, White Embossing Powder and Stamp Pads: Always Artichoke, Cajun Craze, So Saffron & Marina Mist.  The butterflies were cute with the little Beautiful Wings Embosslits.  The big butterfly I wrapped with White Baker's Twine to make tentacles.  The With Sympathy is from the Loving Thoughts Stamp Set.  Thanks for the challenge Patty!  You're awesome.....

Great-Granddaughter's Birthday Card

Here's the card I made for my hubby's Great-Granddaughter's Birthday ~

I used It's Your Day Stamp Set for the greeting on the front and the little vase is from the Bright Blossoms Stamp Set.  The card base is Whisper White with a layer of Tempting Turquoise for for both borders.  the DSP I used is Summer Smooches.  I also added a Sweet Stitches Designer Fabric Brad.  The inside I cut the message out with the Framelits Label Collection Die, along with one for the border using Pumpkin Pie CS.
