Bookmark

One of the perks we have as demonstrators is instructions on how to create SU samples that are in our exclusive publications.  Last month they had a cute bookmark and I downloaded the instructions, changed mine up just a bit as far as color scheme...and viola, too cute.

I used Early Espresso for the base, the flower is stamped with Posy Punch Stamp Set using Pool Party and the inside of the flower punched with the 3/4" circle punch.  I sponged the edges with Early Espresso ink.  I used dimensional to pop the flower and banner/ribbons up.

My 1st Recruit

Hi everyone:

Just want to introduce you to my first Stampin' UP! recruit.  Her name is Tina Iliff.  She gave me my first Stampin' UP! workshop when I became a Demonstrator some 3 years ago.  She is so cool, cute, smart and very talented.  I'm so proud of her and she is an inspiration beyond belief.

Welcome to the Stampin' UP! family Tina and thanks for being my friend.  Tina's the one in the white dress and her husband John is her support and partner in all her new adventures.

Best wishes Tina for a long and happy relationship with Stampin' UP!  I know you're going to love being part of the family.

Big hugs and loves,
Julia

Boss' Birthday Card

Here's the card I made for my Boss this week.  Thursday was his birthday.  He said he "loved it"!

I used Soft Suede CS for the base and punched out a strip with the Lace Ribbon Border Punch. I cut a strip of it in half and used it on the front of the envelope and on the inside of the card.  The Happy Birthday is from the Perfectly Penned Stamp Set.  The background paper is Everyday Enchantment DSP (free from sale-a-bration catalog with a $50 order).  I framed the Happy Birthday with Pool Party DSP and cut a little flower with the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch in Calypso Coral with a Brad from the Everyday Enchantment Ribbon & Brad Pack that I got free from the sale-a-bration catalog.  I used a Labels Framelit to cut the sentiment for the inside that I printed on my computer.  I also trimmed the inside DSP by punching with Scallop Trim Border Punch.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

I created this little purse using the new Bigz L Petite Purse die that will be available 4/1.  As Demonstrators we are allowed to order it early and show samples as long as we don't show the actual product.  I made this for my Grandson to give to his teacher on Friday for St. Patrick's Day today.  Needless to say, he forgot to take it to school on Friday, guess she'll get to have it next week!  Boys!!!

I used Summer Smooches DSP for the purse and added a Garden Green piece under the handle punched with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch.  I made a tag using the It's A Wrap Holidays Stamp Set and also wrapped some Hershey Nuggets to put inside the purse with the same stamp set using Garden Green Ink Pad.  I made the little shamrock on the front by running Garden Green CS through the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder and punching with the Small Heart Punch and used a small silver brad after I glued the hearts to a 1/4" circle.  The tag is punched with the Small Oval Punch and layered onto a piece of Brushed Silver CS punched with the Scallop Oval Punch.  Can you believe those little purses will actually hold 4 nuggets.

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Candy Basket Lollie

I made a candy basket for my desk at work and decorated it with a lollie made from the Bigz Designer Rosette Die using Blushing Bride CS.  After I cut the die 2x, I trimmed to 3" wide to make the lollie.  I added some of the Blushing Bride Satin Pleated Ribbon to the bottom of the basket.  The center of the lollie I added a circle layered with a flower punched with the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch using Regal Rose CS and a large pearl for the center.

I filled it with chocolate so I have a lot of friends this week! LOL!!!
