En Francais

I saw this card in Chiaki Haverstick's Blog and wanted to recreate it!  It was really different and can be used for many different occasions!

She used the En Francais background stamp, Crumb Cake and Perfect Plum CS for the base (which I didn't have so substituted Wisteria Wonder CS).  The hearts were sponged using a template cut with Hearts Collection Framelits and Raspberry Ripple, Rose Red and Perfect Plum ink pads.  The background En Francais stamp was stamped with Versa Mark and I used Clear Embossing Powder.  I love the effect.  Added a little ribbon and some pearls, viola!

Step-Granddaughter's Wedding Card

Here's the card I created for my Step-Granddaughter and her husband-to-Be's wedding in January 2013.  I found the idea from Kay Kalthoff at Stamping to Share.  The newly-weds-to-be live in New Hampshire so we aren't going to be able to go to the wedding but our hearts will be with them, that's for sure!

Love the white on white, simple but elegant.  I used the single stamp Love Heart and Real Red Ink and Whisper White and Real Red CS.  I punched two hearts out of the inside layer of the computer generated sentiment and put some of the Silver Glimmer Paper behind.  Added a little more of the Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon to the inside.

BFF Tina's Wedding Surprise!

I made a cute little photo album for my friend Tina, she's getting married Oct.9th ~ congrats Tina!

Her colors they chose for the wedding are Black/White and Rust ~ so ~ Cajun Craze fit the bill perfectly!
I got the tutorial from DOstamping with Dawn, isn't it awesome?  She gives  you step-by-step instructions.  Thanks Dawn!

Happy Birthday Cordlan!

April 8th is my Step-Grandson Cordlan's B-Day ~ hope he likes the card I made (he's one that appreciates my creations!!).

They just got back from a week of snowboarding so I thought this would help him relive some fun memories.

I used the Extreme Snowboard Stamp with Rich Razzleberry CS, Ink and Dotted Ribbon, Bermuda Bay CS, and ran a piece of Thoroughly Modern DSP through the Perfect Polka Dots Impression Folder. I embossed the Snowboarder with Clear Embossing Powder. I also used Basic Black CS for one of the background layers. The Whisper White and Bermuda Bay CS layers were punched with the Ticket Corner Punch. I also spritzed the Shimmery White CS with Bermuda Bay Ink Pen using the Color Spritzer Tool. Hubby mailed the card today so he should get it by Thursday (I hope).

Faux Alligator Matchbox Clutch

This is another great idea from our Demonstrator's SU site, this was provided by Francine Yee, Kaneohe, HI ~ Inspired by Gretchen Barron.

It's a little Faux Alligator Matchbox Purse. You use the Matchbox Bigz XL die (I used Red CS and the little Brown Flower Brad. I used the Corner Rounder on the cornders of the flap. A piece of Red Grosgrain Ribbon (8") for the little strap.

The Faux look is accomplished by using VersaMark Pad and Clear Embossing Powder. Use your Bone Folder to make design, shake off the excess and heat the powder, doesn't it look like real Alligator Skin? (Well, except for the color!) LOL!!

It was a fun little project and come out really cute. Thanks for looking.
