Bee Card

I found this card on Stampinonthefly and couldn't resist CASEing it!  Here's my try:

I used Naturals White CS for the base of the card.  Just love the Hexagon Hive Thinlits Die, cut off the outer edge and sponged with Early Espresso Ink.  You cut the beehive twice, once from Whisper White CS and the second from Daffodil Delight CS.  I sponged some of the cut-outs and added them to the solid parts of the hive.  I used Backyard Basics for the Bee and with the coordinating Framelits, made it so easy!  the hello sweet friend is from Six-Sided Sampler Stamp Set.  I added some Basic Pearls and viola ~ her card is CASE'd!  Love it!  Thanks Jennifer, love your site!

Jeri's Frame

My friend at work said good-bye on Friday.  She's a retiree that came back for a 6 month job to help another department 5 years ago....now that's a long 6 months!  She's an awesome lady and has been a very close friend for many years ~ Best wishes Jeri!  This is the frame I made for her as a going-away gift:

The background paper is Pistachio Pudding CS from the In-Color Paper Stack 2013-2015.  I used the Labels Collection Framelits to cut out the saying and sponged the edges in Chocolate Chip.  The vases are from the Vivid Vases single stamp set, I fussy-cut them and stamped on them and used dimensionals to add them over the top of the stamped vases.  I added some flowers stamped out of the Watercolor Wonder DSP and added little pearls to the centers of the flowers.

Here are some of the products I used:

I gave it to her yesterday and she told me she has a perfect spot in her home to hang it!  Will miss you Jeri~

En Francais

I saw this card in Chiaki Haverstick's Blog and wanted to recreate it!  It was really different and can be used for many different occasions!

She used the En Francais background stamp, Crumb Cake and Perfect Plum CS for the base (which I didn't have so substituted Wisteria Wonder CS).  The hearts were sponged using a template cut with Hearts Collection Framelits and Raspberry Ripple, Rose Red and Perfect Plum ink pads.  The background En Francais stamp was stamped with Versa Mark and I used Clear Embossing Powder.  I love the effect.  Added a little ribbon and some pearls, viola!

Bob's Valentine Card 2014

Thanks to Angie Kennedy Juda for sending me this "free" tutorial for updating my request for her e-mails!  She just started selling Chic-Stands again too, I ordered one for myself and one for my Twin today.  Thanks Angie!  Here's my version of Angie's card (I didn't have the same heart stamp as she used so mine is the single stamp Flowerful Heart and punched with the Heart Punch).

The 'Thanks for being mine' is from Love You to the Moon Stamp Set.  I used Strawberry Slush Ink and the CS from DSP Stack (In Color).  I added some little Rhinestnes to the heart and also punch out a heart for the front of the envelope.  You can't see it, but I also cut an envelope liner for the inside of the envelope.  The ribbon is Strawberry Slush Ruffle Trim. I know hubby will love it!  Thanks for your "free" tutorial Angie.

Brandyscards CASE

I love this lady's cards and videos!  She did a tutorial using the Vivid Vases and Happy Watercolor Stamp Set that I couldn't resist but to CASE!  Check it out at Brandy's Cards!

You layer Whisper White CS onto a base that was stamped with Melon Mambo using the Happy Happy Watercolor Stamp Set.  the vases are from Vivid Vases Stamp Set.  You stamp those twice and cut the vases out and color and attach over the original stamped image.  The base is also Whisper White CS.  Brandy's tutorial is awesome, go check it out, and she's a cutie!  Thanks for sharing Brandy~

Boss' Thank You Card

My Boss at my "regular job" gave me a gift certificate.  This is my Thank You Card for his kindness.

I used the bicycle paper from Birthday Basics DSP package.  The You Made My Day and Thank You are from the Best of Greetings Stamp Set.  I used Framelits - Labels Collections and Square Lattice Embossing Folder.  I added some of the Burlap Ribbon, love that stuff!  The front is Cherry Cobbler CS and the Co'ordinations Cherry Cobbler Paper for the inside behind the computer generated sentiment.  I cut one of the bicycles out and put on the front of the envelope and used the Envelope Liner Framelits with the same paper for the inside of the envelope.  Also used the Word Bubbles Framelits and Oval/Scalloped Oval Punches for the front.  I think he'll like it!

Bob's Birthday Card 2014

Yeaterday was hubby's birthday.  This is the "simple" card I made for him and he loved it (thank goodness)!!!

I used the Another Great Year Stamp Set on Very Vanilla CS.  I added some Candy Dots from the Brights Collection.  The card front is mounted on Midnight Muse CS.  I used embossing powder and heat set the Happy Birthday to You and sponged around the edges.

Another year, they seem to be flying by!
