Elements of Style Card

I saw this on-line at Card Scraps, haven't tried the little purse yet that goes with it, but I just loved her card and instructions. I used the Gray from Neutrals CS and Black Staz-On Ink and Basic Black CS. The stamp set is from Elements of Style and the back layer I used the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Folder and sprayed with Vanilla Shimmer Smooch Spritz. The edges of all the Whisper White was sponged with Black Staz-On. I tied some Black Satin Ribbon around the card front before adhering it to the Gray card base.

I love this stamp sent, it's really vintage looking and looks good in so many colors.

Graduation

I have a Step-Granddaughter graduating from High School. I made a card to send to her, she lives in New Hampshire. Wish we could attend her graduation but we can't, so hope she likes her card and, of course, the money her Grandpa will be sending!

I used the First Day Stamp Set that's in the Summer Mini along with the Top Note Die, Congratulations is from the Well Scripted Stamp Set, I embossed it with Silver Embossing Powder over VersaMark Ink. Also used the new Square Lattice Embossing Folder on the Scallop Circle and Real Red Background paper along with Kraft CS and several other circle punches. I colored the little Bookworm with stampin' write markers (Real Red & Certainly Celery).

Tricycle Journey

Here's my card using the new Pedaling Past Stamp Set.


I used the new embossing folder from the Summer Mini called Square Lattice and punched with the Scallop Circle in Real Red CS. Also used the Perfect Polka Dots Impression Folder on the Kraft CS and the Ticket Corner Punch and layered onto Basic Black CS. I mounted the tricycle, which I colored with Stampin' UP! Watercolor Pencils and punched with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch(after sponging the edges with Soft Suede Ink), onto the Red Scallop and then a layer of Black Wide Striped Ribbon. Enjoy the Journey from the Pedaling Past Stamp Set was punched with the Word Window Punch, sponged the edges with Soft Suede Ink and layered onto the Modern Label that had been run through the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

Mother's Day 2010

I made a card for my Grandson Johnny to give to his Mom tomorrow, hope you like it! I used the stamp sets: Something Sweet, Well Scriped & Upsy Daisy. CS Real Red and Coral and ink pads to match. It's an easel card, those come out so cute. I used Red Grosgrain Ribbon and brads for the corners that were punched with the Ticket Corner Punch. I used the Scallop Edge and Corner Punch on the bottom. Also the small and medium Oval Punches and the Scallop Oval Punch.

Look what my BFF sent!

Oh my goodness, look what I got in the mail today from my BFF Tina! (Lemondrops Simple Stuff). Thank you so much, I love them and will give Twin Judy her set, what a thoughtful person you are!!!!

Happy Birthday Tealight Cake

This was the tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers this week. I used the Old Olive CS for the Icing and Ribbon Originals Mistletoe Ribbon around the bottom . The striped paper around the body of the cake is Island Oasis DSP, and the happy birthday is from Think Happy Thoughts Stamp Set. I sponged the edges with Soft Suede Stamp Pad. Aren't these little cakes just the cutest? You use the little tea lights with batteries and the tutorial gives you all the measurements and instructions.
