Graduation ~ Congrats!

My Nephew Jeremy is graduating 8th Grade this week. His parents are having a party for him next Saturday and here's the card I made for him ~ just need to sign and add some $$$!

I used the First Day Stamp Set and the Congratulations from the Well Scripted Stamp Set and the Extreme Guitar Stamp (Jeremy plays the guitar, among other instruments ~ he's very talented). The Square Lattice Embossing Folder was used on the belly band and the inside strip which I also punched using the Scallop Trim Border Punch. I checked the internet and found his school colors were Red/Black (wow ~ same as my old High School)! I used Real Red, Basic Black and Kraft (soon to be renamed Crumb Cake) CS. The inside pocket I made using the Word Window Punch and the 1/2" circle punch. I trimmed the front with a piece of Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon and the little bookworm was colored with markers Real Red and Certainly Celery.

Graduation

I have a Step-Granddaughter graduating from High School. I made a card to send to her, she lives in New Hampshire. Wish we could attend her graduation but we can't, so hope she likes her card and, of course, the money her Grandpa will be sending!

I used the First Day Stamp Set that's in the Summer Mini along with the Top Note Die, Congratulations is from the Well Scripted Stamp Set, I embossed it with Silver Embossing Powder over VersaMark Ink. Also used the new Square Lattice Embossing Folder on the Scallop Circle and Real Red Background paper along with Kraft CS and several other circle punches. I colored the little Bookworm with stampin' write markers (Real Red & Certainly Celery).

Blue Rose Birthday Card

I tried making one of the paper roses like Julie Williams at Simi Stamper shared. Those are NOT easy...but they sure come out cute, don't you think?

I used the Bride Specialty Paper and sponged it with Brocade Blue Ink Pad. The rose was Bashful Blue CS sponged with the Brocade Blue. The Happy Birthday is from the Well Scripted Stamp Set on Whisper White punched with the Wide Oval Punch. I used Old Olive for the leaves that were punched with the Extra Large Two-Step Bird punch. The card base is Bashful Blue CS and I rounded the corners with the Corner Rounder Punch. I also used Whisper White Organza Ribbon and behind the sentiment I added a Wide Oval Punched piece of Old Olive CS.

Another Easter Basket

Here's another little Easter Basket that I cased from Splitcoast Stampers. Hope you like it??

I used the Pawsitively Prints DSP for the outside of the basket and YoYo Yellow CS for the actual basket and handle. I used the Eyelet Border Punch for the design with DSP on the handle. I used Bashful Blue Satin Ribbon for the little bow and the Yellow Striped Grosgrain Ribbon around the top of the Basket. The Happy Easter stamped with Soft Suede is from the Well Scripted Stamp Set stamped on pink CS from the Earth Elements Packet of CS and punched with the Scallop Oval Punch and layered onto Wide Oval Punched from Chocolate Chip CS. I added some tissue paper and Easter Candy to finish off the little basket.

Luv-2-Stamp Group Meeting Entry

Here's my entry for this coming week-ends meeting for the Luv-2-Stamp Group. Don't know if any of my group (other than Judy) check my blog ~ but this'll be a "sneak peek" of my trade for Saturday! Hope you like it...

I used stamps from Forest Friends & Well Scripted. Ink is Soft Suede and Melon Mambo. Ribon 1/2" Polka-Dot Grosgrain-Soft Suede, Punches used were the Wide Oval, 1-1/4" & 1-3/8" Circle and Scallop Circle. The paper is Whisper White, Melon Mambo and Soft Suede. I used the embossing folder Elegant Bouquet and used the Shimmer Paint Frost White for the centers of the flowers. I sponged the edges of the punched cut-out images with Soft Suede Ink. I made 35! Hope I get a lot of cool trades. :o)

Here's a Birthday Card I created today. Hope you like it! It's a diorama card and I used the Chocolate Chip CS, the new XL Two-Step Bird Punch (lovin' that punch), the background paper is from the Sweet Pea Pack and the stamp set for the Happy Birthday was from Well Scripted and I used the new Whimsical Words for the inside sentiment, both stamped in Always Artichoke and sponged around the edges with So Saffron.
