Bob's Valentine Card 2014

Thanks to Angie Kennedy Juda for sending me this "free" tutorial for updating my request for her e-mails!  She just started selling Chic-Stands again too, I ordered one for myself and one for my Twin today.  Thanks Angie!  Here's my version of Angie's card (I didn't have the same heart stamp as she used so mine is the single stamp Flowerful Heart and punched with the Heart Punch).

The 'Thanks for being mine' is from Love You to the Moon Stamp Set.  I used Strawberry Slush Ink and the CS from DSP Stack (In Color).  I added some little Rhinestnes to the heart and also punch out a heart for the front of the envelope.  You can't see it, but I also cut an envelope liner for the inside of the envelope.  The ribbon is Strawberry Slush Ruffle Trim. I know hubby will love it!  Thanks for your "free" tutorial Angie.

Feb 14 Nugget Bags

These are the little nugget bags I made to sell for Valentine's Day this year.  The Stamp Set is Filled With Love.  Some Real Rd CS and my Pinking Hearts Border Punch, Heart Embosslit and regular Heart Punch and the 1" circle Punch, lots of Chocolate Chip Sponging and various Red and Pink CS.  I used a Rhinestone in the center of the circle of hearts on the back.  I've been so busy creating Valentine stuff to sell this year I neglected my blog ~ so sorry!

Tractor Card

I found this cute little punch art tractor on Addicted To Stamping blog, she has so much cute stuff over there, check her site out. This little tractor was made from Stampin' UP! punches. the word window for the smoke stack, the large tag punch for the front and rounded the top corner with the corner rounder punch. I used the scallop circle punch for the back tire and a heart for the seat, the little slit punch for the steering column and the steering wheel I cut myself, just like she did. The background I just tore a piece of copy paper and sponged on clouds and the ground. The puffs of smoke from the smoke stack are the three flower punch. I used brads for the insides of the wheels and sponged all the pieces with the new Early Espresso Classic Ink. The tractor body is Old Olive CS and the base for the card is Kraft (soon to be Crumb Cake) CS and I layered Basic Black and Old Olive before mounting the card onto the front. The "happy birthday" is from the Happy Moments Stamp Set. I think this card might go to my farmer nephew for his Birthday in October.

Valentine Creations & a Bird!

Look at all the cute little Valentine Creations I made & a Bird! Love that new punch. The top left is a memo pad holder, I embossed it with the Sizzix Finial Press Folder and then embossed it with VersaMark and Clear Embossing Powder. Added a little flower brad and punched Love You Much birds with the Scallop Circle punch and sponged the edges with Soft Suede Ink. The box on the right was punched using Sending Love DSP and the Bigz Bitty Box and Envelope Die. The heart was punched with the Heart Punch and Sending Love DSP and it too was sponged with Soft Suede Ink. Then a little Silver Elastic Cord. Bottom left is a little Peppermint Patty with Scallop Circle punched for the bottom from Real Red CS and the top I used the Love You Much hugs & kisses stamp and Whisper White CS/Real Red CS and stamped a second time on Whisper White and punched the little heart out with the new little Heart Punch. I put Crystal Effects on the little heart to make it shine. The last little creation with the bird was created with the new Bird Punch and the first layer behind the bird was punched with the Scallop Oval Punch after I ran it through the Big Shot using the new Polka Dot Embossing Folder (one of my most favorite Stampin' UP! products to date) ..a little Not Quite Navy for the larger circle and Bashful Blue CS for the next circle and paper from the new Sweet Pea DSP book of paper (there are so many great prints in that collection). I cut one of the crystal clear sleeves 1" wide and glued with the snail to make the tube for the M&M's. All these projects were so much fun and especially the little note pad because my Twin Sister Judy helped me make that one!
