Cousin's Birthday Card

I found another card to CASE at Simply Simple Stamping for my cousin's Birthday.  Connie Stewart does some awesome videos and really fun cards.  I know my cousin will love this one.  The only thing I changed was the sentiment.

This is called the "Bleach Technique" because you bleach out the flower and leaves after you Stamp and Emboss the image.  The flower is from Best of Flowers (25th Anniversary Stamp Set) and the happy birthday is from Perfect Punches.  The CS is Midnight Muse, Marina Mist and Very Vanilla.  The happy birthday was stamped in Summer Starfruit and the flower in Midnight Muse.   The ribbon is Summer Starfruit Satin Stitched.  I colored the leaves with Wild Wasabi.  I used the large oval punch to punch out the happy birthday and added more Summer Starfruit Ribbon.  The card base is stamped in Midnight Muse using the Best of Flowers Dahlia and En Francais Stamp.

Another CASE from Connie Stewart

Connie Stewart is amazing!  If you haven't been to her Blog and seen her creations and instructions, do it, she has such great videos and some really easy to create cards. Her Blog is Simply Simple Stamping.

She uses what she calls Flash Cards 2.0, it's a video she created that shows you how to cut your CS and be able to create many different cards starting with the same size and number of pieces of pre-cut CS and little to no waste.  If you haven't seen her videos be sure to check out her site.

This card used Chocolate Chip CS for the base.  Regal Rose and Very Vanilla CS for the rest.  I used the Scallop Edge Punch for the layer under the Regal Rose. The stamp set is A Round Array stamped in Chocolate Chip and Regal Rose ink.  They're punched with the new 7/8" scallop punch.  The netting looking image and the leaf (it's hard to see because it's Chocolate Chip Ink on Chocolate Chip CS)is from the Summer Silhouettes Stamp Set. The little pink flowers are punched with the Itty Bitty Punch and have Dazzling Details in the centers.  The ribbon is Very Vanilla Seam Binding.  Hope you like it!

Stamping T Tutorial ~ Cupcake Oven

I recently purchased a couple of tutorials from Stamping T.  One of them was to make a Cupcake Oven.  I attempted to create it today.  I know mine doesn't compare to Tanya's, but she does give great instructions and the $2. I paid for the tutorial was well worth an entire day's creating!  (And I didn't even make the cupcake to go inside yet!).....Here's the link to Stamping T's site and the Cupcake Oven she created.  Thanks so much for the great tutorial Tanya and for the quick delivery on my order...

I had to use Bashful Blue CS instead of Baja Breeze because I didn't have any 12x12 Baja Breeze.  Isn't it cute.  I know hers' is MUCH better but I was really happy with my first try at creating this.

As you can see in the pic' I got to use the new Build-a-brads for the burners, bottle cap for the frying pan.  Also used was Crumb Cake CS, Very Vanilla CS, Brushed Silver CS, Window Sheet for the oven door window.  Patio Party DSP for the Oven Mit, Patio Party DSP for the 312 in the center of the top of the stove, Clockworks and Itty Bitty Bits Stamp Sets.  Lots of punches and Framelits and the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

Believed

She Believed she could ...so she did~  This is the frame I made using that stamp from Feel Goods Stamp Set along with Framelits Dress Up, Basic Rhinestone Jewels, Framelit-Window Frame Collection, Crumb Cake Ink and CS, Print Poetry DSP Paper Stack, Natural Composition DSP, Polka Dot Embossing Folder, Silver Glimmer Paper, Ovals Collection Framelits nad Midnight Muse Satin Stitched Ribbon, Vanilla 5/8" Flower Trim (colored with Midnight Muse stampin' write marker.

The idea came from Chicki Haverstick.  A Demonstrator Friend and my Twin Judy came to my house a couple of weeks ago and we created the dress in the frame and I've been wanting to do one every since.  Here's my version, hope you like it!

Grandson's B-Day Card

Here's the card I made for Bob's Grandson.  I used one of the cards we did at Convention last year as my model, the one we made at Convention was a 4x4, this one is regular card size 5 1/2 x 4 1/4.

I used More Mustard CS for the card base.  The Happy Birthday is from the You're Amazing Stamp Set and stamped in Midnight Muse on Vanilla CS.  I sponged the edges after cutting it out with the Apothecary Accents Framlits.   The banner is Early Espresso Core'dinations CS ran through the Textured Impressions Wood-grain Embossing Folder and sanded with the Sanding Block.  The next layer is Newsprint DSP and I added Midnight Muse Satin Stitched Ribbon.  The little tickets are punched with the Ticket Duo Builder Punch and attached to one of the Vintage Trinket safety pins.  The inside is computer generated on Vanilla CS and cut with the Ovals Collection Framelits.   How do those kids grow up so fast!
