Stamping T Tutorial ~ Cupcake Oven

I recently purchased a couple of tutorials from Stamping T.  One of them was to make a Cupcake Oven.  I attempted to create it today.  I know mine doesn't compare to Tanya's, but she does give great instructions and the $2. I paid for the tutorial was well worth an entire day's creating!  (And I didn't even make the cupcake to go inside yet!).....Here's the link to Stamping T's site and the Cupcake Oven she created.  Thanks so much for the great tutorial Tanya and for the quick delivery on my order...

I had to use Bashful Blue CS instead of Baja Breeze because I didn't have any 12x12 Baja Breeze.  Isn't it cute.  I know hers' is MUCH better but I was really happy with my first try at creating this.

As you can see in the pic' I got to use the new Build-a-brads for the burners, bottle cap for the frying pan.  Also used was Crumb Cake CS, Very Vanilla CS, Brushed Silver CS, Window Sheet for the oven door window.  Patio Party DSP for the Oven Mit, Patio Party DSP for the 312 in the center of the top of the stove, Clockworks and Itty Bitty Bits Stamp Sets.  Lots of punches and Framelits and the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

Birthday Time!

My sister is having a birthday, she lives down south so won't get to see her :o( but I hope my card helps her to have a very "special day"!

I used the For the Birds Stamp Set and colored with ink from markers scribbled onto a clear block using the blender pen.  The flowers were cut using Floral Frames Framelits and the larger one I ran through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots Impression Folder.  The mailbox was cut with the Decorative Label Punch.  The paper is Patio Party DSP and the ribbon is Primrose Petals Satin Stitched Ribbon.  The Daffodil Delight layer I ran through the Big Shot using the Fancy Fan Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  The card base is Midnight Muse CS.

Happy Birthday Sis', Love you much ~

Scrapbook Page

At Patty Bennett's Luv2Stamp Group Meeting last month Lorena Martinez-Ochoa showed us how to create an 8x8 Scrapbook Page using Fan Fair DSP.  Last week I was going to my Uncle's funeral and my Sis' (twin) Judy scanned and sent me some old pictures of my Uncle George.  I decided to use the page we made and added the pictures and mounted the 8x8 onto a 12x12 piece of Patio Party DSP that I presented to my Aunt, she was very surprised and pleased to see the old pictures.

She shared them with everyone and it put a smile on her face...
