I waited to post so I didn't ruin your B-day Tina! LOL!!! Actually, I've just been too busy...... This card idea is from Linda Heller's Stamping School that I subscribe to.
It's called Can Opener Card: Birthday. The little brad allows you to swing the senitment open and see the message inside! Very clever, don't you think? The card base is Island Indigo and the next layer is Pool Party. The designer paper is Quartrefancy Specialty DSP. The stamp sets I used were You're Amazing and Bring On the Cake. I added some rhinestones to mine. Also used the DSP to line the inside of the envelope. Tina got it in time for her Birthday and "liked it"! Yeah!!!! Hope you do too.

Special Fold Card
My sister found this on Tami White's Blog Stamp with Tami video tutorials. Isn't it cute. We both made one. I added the little circle on the front of mine to keep the card closed.
The cake is from Sketched Birthday Stamp Set and the greeting is from Really Good Greetings Stamp Set. The base is Pool Party CS and the layering is Pumpkin Pie CS and more Pool Party CS. the cake is stamped with StazOn Ink and colored with markers and an Aqua Painter. The printed DSP is from the Quartrefancy Specialty DSP. The little brads are the new Brights Candy Dots (just the dot, no brad ~ aren't they adorable?). This was such a fun project and even more special because my sister Judy and I enjoyed it together!
