I belong to Linda Heller's Stamping School, some of her projects are amazing. This one in particular where you can make a shadow image with your stamps using waxed paper.
I used Lost Lagoon CS and Stamp Pad. The stamp set is Traveler. The water I stamped off once and then stamped 3 times with Work of Art Stamp Set. I used Black Memento Ink Pad for the ship and shadow. Once you stamp the ship on your card you re-ink and stamp it on a piece of waxed paper. Turn it over, line it up and lay down on your card and touch with your fingers to press down (don't move or it'll smear), when you lift you have the shadow of the ship, cool huh? I used Red/White Bakers Twine and added the happy birthday tag (the happy birthday is from Something to Say Stamp Set). I cut two tags the same size, one in Whisper White CS that is stamped on with the happy birthday and the background one in Cherry Cobbler CS. The Whisper White CS with the ship stamped on it is layered onto another piece of Whisper White and then to the Card Base of Lost Lagoon CS. I really loved this technique and want to try it with other stamp sets. Thanks Linda Heller for always having such awesome lessons on your site!

Another Grad Card
My Nephew is graduating High School this week. I made a card for him with Cindee Wilikinson's idea from her post that she got from Dawn O (same as the one I did for my Grandson, except different colors!
Seems like these boys are growing up way too fast! should be starting First Grade, not graduating from High School!!!
I used Cherry Cobbler CS and More Mustard (retired) CS for this one. I colored the gold Gold Bakers Twine with my new Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities. Also colored the little silver brad on top of the graduation cap with Daffodil Delight Blendabilities, so awesome!

Snowman Light
These come out so cute. I got the instructions from Inking Idaho. Check it out if you'd like to make some!
You use the litte tea lights that are battery operated. Add some Gumball Green for the cap, along with Cherry Cobbler CS, use the Large Oval Punch and the Itty Bitty Punch Set Circle a little of the Cherry Cobbler Sweater Trim Ribbon for his scarf. Run the cap through the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. For his face I colored some Basic Pearls with a Black Sharpie. On the backside you punch a scallop circle and use the Itty Bitty Punch Pack Circle to cut out where the on/off switch goes. SoooOOO cute!

Saturday, January 28th Workshop
Here's one of the cards we created at my Workshop on Saturday.
Cherry Cobbler CS was used for the base of the card and also to make the little hearts with the new Embosslits Fashionable Hearts. The Typewriter and you're just my type is from the You're My Type Stamp Set. On the inside the silhouette stamp is from the Take It to Heart Stamp set. The typewriter was embossed with Black Embossing Powder. The strip on the front is Riding Hood Red Pleated Ribbon and the inside Cherry Cobbler on the bottom was punched with the Hearts Border Punch and the little black strip was punched with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch. The idea came from Mary Fish at Stampin' Pretty who says she got it from Ellen Smallwood. Thanks so much for sharing ladies.
Have a GREAT week and keep Stampin'! Hugs, Julia
