A Birthday Card

My oldest Step-daughter is having a Birthday tomorrow, here's the card I created for my hubby and I to send to her.....

I used Melon Mambo for the base and also punched a scallop circle  and another piece for the center using the Scallop Edge Punch.  The Happy BirthDAY is from the Blue Ribbon Stamp Set and I used Melon Mambo Ink to stamp it and punched with a 1 3/8" Circle Punch.  The ribbon is Whisper White Grosgrain Stitched and a piece of Pink Pirouette Taffeta Ribbon for the bow. The background piece is Very Vanilla ran through the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder.  Hope she gets it in time, we mailed it a couple days ago!

Lisa's Graduation

One of my Daughter's BFF's graduated from college this last week-end and we were invited to her grad party on Friday night!  This is the card I made for her:

I used the flower from Everything Eleanor Stamp Set and the medal I made using the Blue Ribbon Stamp Set.  I used Riding Hood Red Ink for the Flowers and congrats GRAD and congrats tails!  I used Red Glimmer Paper as the frame and Black CS around that all mounted on Whisper White CS.  The inside was computer generated.  I added some Basic Rhinestone Jewels for some added glam!

Paula's Birthday Card

My daughter had another birthday ~ she's almost catching up to me!  LOL!

I used Gloria Plunkett's trade card from one of our Luv2Stamp Group Meetings.  I changed mine up to use Daffodil Delight for the background paper and the Happy Birthday from the Blue Ribbon Stamp Set.  The flowers and background are from the Creative Elements Stamp Set.  These cards come out so cute and are so easy to do.  My daughter is a Pittsburgh Steeler FAN so had to do a "black and yellow" card for her!  Here's the inside~

I used the Framelits - Labels Collection to cut the inside paper.  The writing was done on my computer. It was a VERY busy day and we had a great time helping her celebrate!

Aurora's B-Day Card

My walkin' partner at work had a birthday on Labor Day.  This is the card I gave her today:

She loves butterflies so I used the new butterfly punch.  The Papillion Portpourri for the stamped images onto in-color CS.  The circles were cut from Polka Dot Parade DSP.  The Happy Birthday was stamped in Gumball Green using the Blue Ribbon Stamp Set.  The card base is Gumball Green CS and then a layer of Basic Black CS.  She loved her card!

I got the inspiration from luv-2-stamp groups'  Barbara Hebert at Barbara Hebert Designs.

6 Year Old's Birthday Card

My good friend at work has a Grandson who turns 6 today.  He's already a die-hard Giants fan so I got him a Giants sweatshirt from our Sports Store at the mall.  Here's the card I made to go with his gift ~

It's just a little 3x3 gift card.  I used Great Sport Stamp Set for the baseballs, stamped off once and then stamped on Very Vanilla CS with Pumpkin Pie Ink and also sponged the edges with the same ink.  The Happy Birthday is from Blue Ribbon Stamp Set.  The border is Pumpkin Pie CS layered onto the Black CS base.  I used some Black Taffeta Ribbon.  The inside was computer generated.  Used my oval Scallop Circle punch and regular circle punch and the inside circle is one of the circles from the Circles #2 Sizzix die.

Hope he has an awesome 6th birthday ~ and many more....
