I used the new Batty for You stamps to create these little treats. The #2 Box I cut out of DSP Cast-A-Spell and filled with little candy bars wrapped in the coordinating back-side of the paper that I used for the box. Rich Razzleberry Ink and CS, scallop punch and 1 1/4" circle punch and 1 3/8" circle punch layered with the Trick or Treat..smell my feet! For the bag I used the Top Note Die and the same scallops and circle with the scallop out of Whisper White CS and sponged along the edges with Rich Razzleberry Classic stampin' pad. Oh yeah, wrapped the box with Rich Razzleberry dotted swiss ribbon and tied the tag on with linen thread. Happy Halloween!

Scaredy-Cat Clipboard
Remember these from last year ~ quick cute little clipboard key chains. I used chipboard (2"x3") and rounded the corners, added the new DSP Cast-a-spell and sponged the edges using Always Artichoke ink. The Scaredy-Cat Stamp is from the new Batty for You stamp set. I added a little chain and Chocolate Chip Tafeta Ribbon.

Pixie Stix Treat Box
How cute is this for a treat? It's the pillow box die and I cut the top off and punched with 1 1/4" circle punch just half way in to make the little indent in the front. The paper is some new DSP Bashful Blue I got from Stampin' Up! today, I love that shade of blue. The ribbon is 1/2" Striped Grosgrain (Bashful Blue). I found the pixie stix at our local 98 cent store.

Tags from Tina
My dear friend Tina sent me these tags she made (check out her blog) ... she has so much cool stuff ~ and most of it is "trash to treasure". She's awesome and shares everything ~ she calls me her mentor but I gotta tell ya, what I've learned from her is awesome. She hosted my first (and best) Stampin' UP! party and sent me the information to start my own blog. I have a long way to go, but because of her, I get to share with you. One of my favorite things in life. Click on her name above to go to her link, she's amazing.
best wishes Deer!
I made this card using the embossing folder Finial Press (page 195 of the 2009 - 2010 Idea Book and Catalog), along with the deer from the stamp set Forest Friends. Layered with the Modern Label Punch and matching Label from the Movers & Shapers Set. CS Whisper White, Crushed Curry and Soft Suede. Ribbon Polka-dot Grosgrain Soft Suede. The best wishes from the Short & Sweet Stamp Set.

Friend Box
I made this little box using 4 of the Bigz Scallop Envelopes and cutting one side off and attaching them all together. the front I used the large oval punch and then put sticky strip on the back, a 12" piece of DSP punched with the scallop edge punch and run through the crimper to allow me to gather it and adhere around the oval. This is another technique I found on the Workshop Wow DVD that I purchased at Convention.

Kleenex Box
I made one of those cute little Kleenex Boxes that Cindee Wilkinson (JustSpongeIt) shared that she got from http://stampspaperscissors.typepad.com/ site. I didn't have the little white Kleenex to put in the box, just some Mary Englebright ones I'd gotten at Michael's. Doesn't this turn out just "too cute"?
Happy Stamping,
Julia
My Little Piggy...
This card was so much fun to do. Just punches and some sponging! I found the instructions on the Workshop Wow Video that I purchased at Convention. This segment was demonstrated by Heather Summers, London, ON. Too cute! I made one and at my Stampin' UP! Workshop yesterday, before I could post, a dear friend did the "wow" to me so I couldn't resist giving it to her. Today I made another one to share with you! Hope you like it.

Hi Stampers ~
I lifted this idea from my neighbor/friend/co-Stampin' UP! Demonstrator Julia B! (What a great first name, huh? ..LOL) ... she had it on her blog today with ALL the instructions. http://www.juliabettencourt.com/blog/ Thanks JuliaB .... your ideas are awesome and your sharing is even better! Congrats on your award with Stampin' UP! that's in the Success Magazine this month for your wonderful creation made with the Stampin' UP! Box #2 die. Sweet Season Card
This is the card I made last night with the new Sweet Season Stamp Set and the Bermuda Bay card stock and ink with a strip of Rich Razzleberry Paper along with some DSP from the Razzleberry Lemonade collection. On the inside one of the new Razzle Dazzle Stamps using Bermuda Bay ink and Rich Razzleberry for the best wishes from the Short and Sweet Stamp Set.
Peppermint Patty Favors
Wow, finally back to posting a card. I worked all day yesterday making little sunflower York Peppermint Patty favors for a friend at work. Got 100 of them done, ran out of mints and little bags so as soon as I replenish those supplies that will be done. She loved them though, so it was so worth the time and effort. I love what I do and love to share it!

Convention Slide Show
I'm not sure I can do this ~ but if I can it'll show tons of pictures of the Convention at Salt Lake City last week (and some of my puppy)! These were all taken with my iphone. If it works out okay I'll try and create one from the Sony pictures that I took...
Some of the photos are just crowds of people just like me who love to stamp and share ideas! Wish everyone could have been there, it was an experience of a lifetime. Much thanks to my upline Lene'e Pearson for encouraging me to go and helping me get around and be at the right place at the right time. Lene'e and I met some new life-long friends and had a lot of laughs and special times. And, an EXTRA BIG THANKS to my Twin, Judy, for supporting me and making me feel that going without her was okay. Hope you enjoy the video. :o)

Back from Convention
Wow! We had such an awesome time at the Stampin' Up! Convention ~ Lene'e Pearson (my Upline) and I traveled together and what a lot of great people we met and the Convention was top notch! Everyone was so nice and we learned so much. There were so many samples of cards and demonstrations, I'm worn out! I will try and get something posted soon, even if it's only a couple of pictures from our week. If you ever have the opportunity to attend one of the Stampin' Up! Conventions, by all means, do it! I can't even begin to tell you how much you will be able to come home with. The most special part is meeting all the wonderful folks that love to stamp. Talk to you soon ... it's great to get back home. Hugs, Julia
