Valentine Treat

Here's a little topper I did for a mini M&M's bag of treats.  I used the Create a Cupcake Stamp set, along with the Build a Cupcake Punch.  These two together are so much fun!  The little "love" is a stamp from the  Tiny Tags Stamp Set.  One Heart is punched using the Heart Embosslit (love that die) and the other is punched using the Heart Punch and running it through the Perfect Polka Dots Impression Folder.  I used Real Red, Chocolate Chip and Blushing Bride CS. The edge was punched with the Eyelet Border Punch.  I punched the cherry out using the Build a Cupcake Punch and colored the stem brown with my Chocolate Chip stampin' write marker and put a little shadow using the White Gel Pen.  You can't see the back (sorry), but I added a Heart from the Filled with Love Stamp Set to cover the staple in the back.

Wendy's Birthday Card

November is a big Birthday month for us.  Here's the first of several cards I need to get into the mail.
I used Basic Gray CS for the card base and Pink Pirouette CS for the first layer and ran it through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dots Impression Folder on the bottom half.  The Melon Mambo CS was used for the backing on the greeting Birthday Wishes from the Watercolor Trio Stamp Set.  I used the Decorative Label Punch and punched out one White CS and one Melon Mambo CS, cut the white ones in two and made a backing for the Melon Mambo label.  I cut the stamped image out with the Small Oval and sponged with Melon Mambo Ink.  I added 3 Basic Pearls below the greeting.  The flowers on the top are from the Just Believe Stamp Set.  I added Basic Pearls to two of the flowers and I sponged the edge of that with the Melon Mambo ink also.  The Rick-Rack across the center of the card is Melon Mambo CS cut with the Bigz Die Tasteful Trim.  I used more flowers on the inside stamped with Melon Mambo and Basic Gray Ink.  Sure hope Wendy likes her card.  She's in New Hampshire so it has a long way to travel to get to her.

Birthday Card

Another year! I made this Birthday Card the same as one I did earlier, except I used the Early Espresso to sponge the edges of the water color paper. I used the Perfect Polka Dots Impression Folder. The stamp is from The Nicest Things Stamp Set and the Happy Birthday is from the Perfect Punches Stamp Set. I cut it out with the Large Oval Punch and sponged the edges. I mounted it with deminsionals and put some of the new pearls in the corners that were punched with the Ticket Corner Punch. It's layered onto a card base of Pink Pirouette CS.

Jordan Elijah

A lady at my work sent me a picture of her Grandson. This is the card I made as a thank you to her for sharing her little bundle of love!
I used my digital STUDIO for the background and added a few embellishments. The "In My Thoughts 24***7" is from the Hodgepodge Happiness Stamp Set. I punched it with the 3/4" Circle Punch and mounted it onto the heart with a deminsional. I used a brad from the Filigree set in the center of the Baby Blue ribbon. I punched the bottom with the Scallop Trim Border punch. I ran some Soft Suede CS through the Perfect Polka Dots Impression Folder and used the snail to mount it to the back and then all of it onto Pumpkin Pie CS and then a card base of Soft Suede CS. I added 3 little rhinestones from the Jewels Basic Rhinestone pack. Hope she likes her card?

My Baby Buggy

I found this on-line by Sandi MacIver . She said it isn't her original idea but she does give all the directions on how to make it. She couldn't remember where she originally found it (sorry). You use the Large Sizzix Circle Scallop Die, (I used Bashful Blue CS) the Perfect Polka Dots Impression Folder. Whisper White CS punched with the Eyelet Border Punch. Use the 1-1/4" circle punch along with the 1/2" circle punch to make the wheels and the spinner on the hood of the carriage. A couple of brads from the Hodgepodge Hardware Kit and that's it. Check out Sandi's site for all the instructions. Thanks Sandi!

Girl Birthday

I received the blender pens with my demonstrator kit and have never used them. I read somewhere that you are supposed to use them with Stampin' Write Markers and Watercolor Paper. Wow, I'm so glad I saw that tip!

I won't name all the colors of pens I used, the background layer is Pink Pirouette CS ran through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots Impression Folder layered onto Melon Mambo CS. I added 4 of the new Basic Pearl Jewels to the corners that I punched with the Ticket Corner Punch. The little girls are from the new set The Nicest Things and the Happy Birthday is from the Perfect Punches Stamp Set. I cut it with the Large Oval Punch. I used deminsionals to mount it onto the card.

Tricycle Journey

Here's my card using the new Pedaling Past Stamp Set.

I used the new embossing folder from the Summer Mini called Square Lattice and punched with the Scallop Circle in Real Red CS. Also used the Perfect Polka Dots Impression Folder on the Kraft CS and the Ticket Corner Punch and layered onto Basic Black CS. I mounted the tricycle, which I colored with Stampin' UP! Watercolor Pencils and punched with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch(after sponging the edges with Soft Suede Ink), onto the Red Scallop and then a layer of Black Wide Striped Ribbon. Enjoy the Journey from the Pedaling Past Stamp Set was punched with the Word Window Punch, sponged the edges with Soft Suede Ink and layered onto the Modern Label that had been run through the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

Tulip Card

I saw this card on Dawn's site (wow is she awesome) .... then my Sister Judy made one and told me how quick and easy they were to make so I tried my hand....her 'tis~
I used Melon Mambo CS and Whisper White ran through the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots Impression Folder. The tulip is cut using the XL Two-Step Bird Punch (Dawn explains it all on her tutorial ~ go check it out by clicking on her name in the first sentence of this post) .. I used Old Olive CS for the green and the Tiny Tags Stamp Set punched with the Medium Jewelry Tag Punch. The top is punched with the Slit Punch with White Organza Ribbon and Tiny Silver Brads. Sponged the Whisper White center piece with Melon Mambo Ink and stamped the sentiment with the same ink. I sponged the tiny tag with Old Olive Ink. Hope you like it and thanks for looking. :o)

Happy Birthday Cordlan!

April 8th is my Step-Grandson Cordlan's B-Day ~ hope he likes the card I made (he's one that appreciates my creations!!).

They just got back from a week of snowboarding so I thought this would help him relive some fun memories.

I used the Extreme Snowboard Stamp with Rich Razzleberry CS, Ink and Dotted Ribbon, Bermuda Bay CS, and ran a piece of Thoroughly Modern DSP through the Perfect Polka Dots Impression Folder. I embossed the Snowboarder with Clear Embossing Powder. I also used Basic Black CS for one of the background layers. The Whisper White and Bermuda Bay CS layers were punched with the Ticket Corner Punch. I also spritzed the Shimmery White CS with Bermuda Bay Ink Pen using the Color Spritzer Tool. Hubby mailed the card today so he should get it by Thursday (I hope).

New Occassions Mini Catalog ~ Jan 5 to Apr 30, 2010

Happy New Year everyone. Hope this year brings happiness and good health to all. Stampin' UP!'s new Occassions Mini Catalog and Sale-a-bration free stuff becomes available Tuesday, January 5th. I can't tell you how estatic I was to find out Stampin' UP! is offering the Textured Impression Folder called Stampin' Up! Perfect Polka Dots ~ I received mine on Wednesday and am totally lovin' it! Here's a card I made using it and some of the new Pretty in Pink 5/8" Satin Ribbon and the new Pinking Hearts Border Punch. These new punches work as well as the old style but close up flat for easier storage ~ you're gonna like them. The birds on the card are from the stamp set Love You Much. Hope you like the card.... and again, Happy 2010!
