A lady at work left last week (she worked for our tree contractor), so of course I had to make her a card with trees on it!
The base of the card is Early Espresso CS and I did the triple layer technique using Crumb Cake CS. We've had several card swaps using the technique and I've seen it on a lot of blogs, so cute and much easier than it appears! The Stamp Set I used was one of my all-time favorites: Lovely as a Tree. I drew the little bird in free hand. The inside stamp is from the Word Play Stamp Set. The ribbon is Chocolate Chip Scallop Dot. I cut the words for the inside with a Window Frame Collection Framelit.

Birthday Card
I made a Birthday card for my boss whose b-day was Monday. I used the card from our swap a few weeks ago at the Luv 2 Stamp Group Meeting traded by Lisa Stout. I changed mine up just a bit but I loved her card because it had that masculine look! Great job Lisa and thanks for sharing.
Here's my version~

I used the stamp sets Vintage Labels for the Happy Birthday, Upsy Daisy for the flowers and Lovely As A Tree for the leaves. Sponged the circles with Soft Suede and stamped in the same color. I used the Light Blue Taffetta Ribbon and the Scallop Edge Punch along with the Scallop Die (using Basic Black CS) and 1 and 1-1/4" circle punches. The Soft Suede CS was run through the Finial Press Embossing Folder and sponged with Soft Suede Ink. Also used Kraft Paper that I stamped the leaves on for the background.

Pine Tree and Pointsetta

The Whisper White layer was scored each 1/2". I used the tall pine from the Lovely As A Tree Stamp Set and Handsome Hunter Classic Ink Pad to stamp it, once with the stamp fully inked and a 2nd time without re-inking. The pointsetta I saw on Inking Addict and adhered with a dimensional, and used Real Red Striped Grosgrain Ribbon and mounted the trees on Real Red CS and used the Green CS from the Earth Elements CS Pack as my base for the card.
Hope you like it? :o)

Bag w/Scallops Tree 3-D

I got the Bag w/Scallops Sizzix Die from Stampin' UP! today, that little guy is so much fun! I had an oval cut-out from last night's creation sitting on my work table and it matched up perfect to put on the front of the bag. (Lovely As A Tree Stamp Set stamped with Soft Suede Ink Pad and sprayed with Champagne Mist.) Just a little Soft Suede Ink sponged on the edges, added one of the new 5/16" Neutral Brads and viola ... a little gift bag. The bag is made with the Autumn Meadows DSP.
