Lexi's Birthday Card

My hubby's Great-Granddaughter had a Birthday ~ she lives in Arizona and this is the card I created for her special occasion!

I used Melon Mambo for the Card Base and Gumball Green CS for the inside frame. The frames were cut using Framelits - Labels Collection.  The background layer on the front of the card and flap of the envelope is Summer Smooches DSP.  I stamped the little girl and boy in the wagon using Life shared Stamp.  I added a strip of Satin Stitched Gumball Green Ribbon.  I colored the image with Colored Pencils and used the Blender Pen to fill in.  Hope her Birthday was very special!

Valentine Girl

Moving on to Valentine's Day!  I found these little clear clothes pins, they have a little magnet on the back. I added a heart (I used the Embosslit Scalloped Heart of Hearts.  Punched it 2x out of Real Red CS, sponged the edges with Chocolate Chip Ink and mounted onto a heart cut from the backing sheet we get in our packages of CS ~ made it all a little thicker.)  I added the little girl with the valentine from the Greeting Card Kids Stamp Set.  I colored her with color pencils and used the blender pen.  Her face and legs I used the Blush Blossom Stampin' Write Pen.  I cut her out and mounted with deminsionals.

Hope you like her?  I've been busy creating Valentine gifts, I'll try and get some of them posted soon.  I'm having so much fun creating, forget to get back to blogging!  Hope everyone is having a healthy winter.  It sure has been cold (yep, even here in the Central Valley of California) ... I'm ready for springtime!

Keep stampin' ~ hugs to all, :o)

Beary Best Wishes Card

This little card I saw on the Stampin' UP! Demo website. I changed it up just a bit by running the Bashful Blue CS through the embossing folder Petals-a-Plenty. Used the border punch on the bottom and mounted onto Very Vanilla CS and then onto Basic Black CS. The hodgepodge hardware with pink tafetta ribbon ~ just like the sample. I used SU water color pencils on the little girl bear. She's just the "sweetest"! Thanks for looking and keep stampin'~
